Ashenafi Gizaw, communication and development management specialist is now serving KDA as General Manager. Ashenafi brings more than two decades of experience in managing international programs and as liaison between national, international and civil society organizations with additional specialization in good governance and human rights.  He has also worked as a journalist and has extensive experience in online communication. He has a broad understanding of Ethiopia’s political and social landscape with a wider understanding of the Horn of Africa and the African continent at large. After a lengthy experience in multinational settings, he is familiar with working with people from all over the world.
