Wubshet Kassaw Hussen, is a Senior Associate at KDA, with more than a decade of experience practicing and teaching law. He has participated in major merger and acquisitions transactions as well as litigation on a wide-range of issues including labor, taxation, privatization and other matters. He holds Master of Laws (LL.M) from Addis Ababa University with distinction and graduated in Bachelor of Laws Degree from Hawassa University School of Law also in distinction after which he joined Arba Minch University as lecturer and researcher.  He also worked as Federal Public Prosecutor at the Ministry of Justice. He specializes in  laws of  traders and business organizations, tax, contract , insurance, agency, banking and negotiable instruments, international trade, investment and bankruptcy.

While at KDA Wubshet has handled compliance and legal due diligence of a multimillion-dollar share transaction on a tobacco manufacturing industry, advised and assisted a Mauritius Company on the acquisition of a target company, represented Britain, Italian and French Companies in a tax dispute, incorporated subsidiary companies for multinational US Companies, advised and represented foreign companies in relation to transfer of shares and privatization.

Wubshet recently registered as Trade Mark Agent at Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office.
